Hi, my name is Caleb most of you already know that. But for those that don't, now you do. :)
My main topic for my blog is DJ'ing, DJ'ing is one of my dreams. I hope to become a well known DJ some day and create some of my own music. I'm going to be doing several things with my blog. There are endless possibilities. A few of the things I'm going to do are talk about other DJ's and their music, remix music and many other things. My brother is a DJ and I look up to him a lot, so he will probably help me out alot with my blog topic.
I've been experimenting with a program called "Traktor". This program allows me to mix music together and play them at the same time and make some cool effects. I've been having lots of fun with this program and it has given me a small taste of what it's like to be a DJ. Some of the DJ's I look up to are Skrillex, DeadMau5, and MonsterCat. My mom actually got to go to a Skrillex concert, I was so jealous. :P I hope I can meet Skrillex some day or DeadMau5, that would be pretty amazing. Skrillex is my favourite DJ of all. His music is just so good and it makes me feel really good. He creates "Dubstep", Dubstep is my favourite type of music. Dubstep is a type of electronic dance music that originated in London, England.
The purpose of my blog is to try and learn about DJ'ing and get feedback from my viewers. This is one of the places I can start, other than Youtube. Later on I will think about posting my songs and progress on Youtube, because I can get feedback from the viewers, since Youtube is a well known site. Becoming a DJ is one of my dreams, I hope to change the world with my music. When I listen to other DJ's music it makes me happy and it makes me feel better no matter how sad or mad I am. So when I create music I hope to make others happy and hope they enjoy my music just as much as I enjoy others music. Also by getting feedback from my viewers I can also connect with them at the same time and comment back to them if they have any questions.
